Atheists: Isn’t it somewhat **convenient** to deny God's existence so you can continue in your unrepented sins?

Does denying God’s existence really give you permission to continue in unrepented sin as you please? ... Why not simply do what He requires, confess your sins to God, truly sorry from your heart and simply ask His forgiveness? He will, completely. Then turn from your sins and turn *to* God proving your repentance is real. Trust that Jesus’ death on the cross took the punishment your sins deserved. All who do will receive eternal life and be empowered by the Holy Spirit to do what He commands. Why do you delay?
