Have you ever seen a disability hierarchy played out in real life, or is it just amusing theory?

Yes, I have seen it play out many times. But it is not as simple as wheelchair users versus people with mental illness. It is people who rely on benefits versus those that don't. It is people who have higher educations versus those that don't. It is people who can communicate clearly versus those that cannot. It is people who acquired versus genetic disabilities.
